Vermeers famous painting The loveletter, is currently shown in the Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg. The painting is displayed for 4 weeks.
Ernst van Veen from the Amsterdam branch of the Hermitage Museum, and the community of Amsterdam and of course the Rijksmuseum, have made this possible to thank the Hermitage for bringing the Hermitage to Amsterdam.
